DAMMANN FRÈRES
MISSION
In 2023, Dammann Frères became a “société à mission” and defined its purpose as : “Cultivating the connection between Human and plants for a superior quality of life”.
The new shareholders’ agreement was conditioned on implementing an ambitious CSR (RSE) action plan. The challenge: making the ongoing transformations and investments readable, credible and attractive.
We produced a first impact report, one year ahead of the first mandatory mission report required after 18 months. This allowed us to establish the foundational elements of the narrative, demonstrate proof-of-impact for the actions undertaken, and the engagement of all internal teams in within the company, which produces a high‑quality tea “from leaf to cup”.
The 2024 Mission Report is currently being finalised.
Strategic approach
A named CSR initiative and : the showcasing of a collective dynamic
– The creation of a flagship namingfor Dammann Frères’ CSR strategy and the writing of the associated manifesto became the concrete expression of all actions already launched by the brand: “LEAF & LIFE” is the banner under which DF inscribes its Corporate Social Responsibility.
– Interviewing all the internal actors, from each department, allowed the telling of an authentic story based on the lived experience of the women and men who are the links in the tea production chain at Dammann Frères. We designed a first report with a collective, and not just a CSR department.
Actions implemented
- Naming of the commitments initiative.
- Writing of the manifesto associated with this naming.
- Organisation and structuring of the action plan according to the three pillars of the mission; copy‑writing, creation and production of the impact report.
