Mission

Organise a national media campaign at the end of the lockdown to encourage french people to reconnect with nature and raise awarness among holidaymakers about the steps to take to preserve biodiversity in protected areas. The campaign also aimed to strengthen the links between the public institution and its stakeholders (local politicians, line ministry, associations, NGO).

Process

A press conference with the national media (press, radio…) and regional press operations to promote the good habits to adopt during summer and show the role of OFB and its agents.

In all regions of France, Rumeur Publique organized press conferences in various natural areas, on meeting places with holidaymakers: sea, mountain, lake, river. Elected officials, OFB agents, journalists and holidaymakers were brought together to understand how to better preserve biodiversiy.

Results

15 conferences in one month, about 70 journalists reached, a TF1 report in Corsica, local France 3 reports in most regions, more than 130 press coverage in the PQR and the national press.
